Early renditions of the company’s Website were full of custom code. The site wasn’t built to be responsive, its utility was low, and it did little to drive consumer engagement, sales, or loyalty. Meanwhile, Starbucks was setting new digital standards firmly reshaping America’s coffee consumers’ expectations.
With new locations, products, and programs coming online all the time we built a robust, full-featured, CMS-driven Website. For on-the-go and most loyal coffee consumers, launched a Mobile app-based loyalty program to serve offers, and drive pre-orders and frequency.
To create an entire Biggby ecosystem, both the WordPress-powered website and native iOS and Android mobile application use a combination of powerful APIs, web services, GraphQL, and POS integration to manage multiple environments serving the same data, including nutrition facts, ingredients, store locations and more. The loyalty app allows users to collect rewards and participate in Biggby’s birthday promotions.
