Rob Thurston has been a part of iwerk essentially from the beginning. Upon graduating from Richland High School in Texas, Rob was one of the first employees of Lewis & Lewis, Inc (currently iwerk/Lewis Information Group). While obtaining his BS in Information Technology from the University of Texas at Arlington, Rob gained invaluable experience working at a Fortune 500 company, where he developed software and managed a staff of programmers. In 2002, Rob founded Inventechs Technologies, a business network and technical services company. In 2006, Rob joined forces with Lewis Information Group and iwerk to create iwerk Texas, where he is currently President and responsible for all technical and business operations.
In addition to his degree, Rob also maintains 5 technical certifications in Desktop, Network, Server Support, Network Security, and Database Management. However, Rob’s highly developed academic background does not affect his ability to provide high quality service for the individual. Rob believes that information technology is more about people than machines, and he turns high level technological theory into a practical reality for businesses by building and maintaining networks the right way. Kindness, responsiveness and clear communication are just as important to him as technical proficiency. That’s the Texan way!
