John O’Brien brings 20 + years of strategic marketing consulting and business development experience to iwerk. He began his career in the advertising and graphic design industry at Perich + Partners in Ann Arbor where he headed up new business development, expanding the client base to a variety of local and national clients including: Border’s Books & Music, Reebok, Blue Cross Blue of Michigan, Taubman Malls, Great Lakes Bancorp, Whirlpool, La-Z-Boy and Gerber. As a founder and partner of Steam Advertising and Design, John built the firm’s reputation as a one the creative hot shops in Michigan working with such clients as Kraft Foods, Merillat, Quaker Oats, Levolor, Saucony Shoes, Etonic Golf, Calphalon and ProQuest among many others. John is now applying his consulting expertise in helping clients understand how application software development and strategic marketing can drive sales and profits. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University and lives with his wife Terri and their two daughters in Northville.
